Kathryn Burke

Managing Assistant

Kathryn is a experienced business leader who specializes in clear, timely communications.   With almost two decades of Human Resource experience in various business sectors including retail, industrial/manufacturing and consumer products, Kathryn leverages her intense organizational skills and innate drive for excellence to create positive client experiences each and every time.   

Upon graduating with her MBA from the Eli Broad School of Management, Michigan State University, Kathryn joined the General Mills Human Resources team - working first at various manufacturing plants, and then in Minneapolis at their Corporate Headquarters.  Working with top company leaders and executives, Kathryn led experienced, graduate and undergraduate recruiting for the Marketing, Consumer Research and Promotions functions, hitting all hiring targets for 3+ years. She then moved to the Consumer Retail Division as the HR Generalist supporting such sales teams as Wal*Mart, Target, and SuperValu.    

For the last 12 years, Kathryn has been highly active in her church and her 3 children’s schools participating in and leading various committees.  Most recently, Kathryn lived with her family in Shanghai, China, where she quickly integrated into the expat and local community. Within 3 months, she was asked to lead their school’s Welcome Committee and was tasked with assisting 200+ families from 40+ countries become integrated into the school and “Shanghai life”.  Now back in Michigan, Kathryn is busy planning family trips throughout the US and abroad, and enjoys cooking and walking the family's new dog, Rosie.
